Slic

Slic is a singer and producer from Caracas, Venezuela living in New York. Their debut album, Unbearable Heat is out now on streaming platforms. It marks Slic’s first official full-length release. Since starting this project, Slic has put out two EPs, as well as singles with the electronic band Octogon and MC Griff Spex. They have issued remixes of their tracks by Blak Emoji, Chelita, Dominic Sen, and others.

Slic’s longstanding affair with the club began as a teenager in Miami, amidst the EDM explosion of the early 2010s when Kaytranada was still DJing underground parties. Rave culture is at the heart of Slic’s sound, with house and techno an ever-present reference through which they filter song ideas.
